Lex Dinamica is seeking a Data Protection Manager to support and lead strategic privacy and data protection programmes across a range of international client projects. This role is ideal for a privacy professional with strong knowledge of the GDPR and other European data protection laws, along with experience in advisory or consulting environments.

 

You’ll be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of privacy frameworks, managing client engagements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, client-facing settings and enjoys helping organisations mature their data protection practices.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver data protection programmes and privacy frameworks for clients

  • Provide expert GDPR and regulatory guidance to internal and external stakeholders

  • Conduct DPIAs, LIAs, records of processing activities (RoPAs), and risk assessments

  • Advise on data protection policies, governance structures, and operational controls

  • Support incident response, breach management, and regulatory reporting processes

  • Liaise with legal, security, and compliance teams to ensure alignment

  • Keep up to date with EU data protection developments and translate into actionable advice

 

 

Experience and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in data protection, privacy compliance, or related fields

  • In-depth knowledge of the GDPR and EU privacy landscape

  • Background in consulting or advisory roles, ideally with client-facing experience

  • Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects with autonomy

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • CIPP/E or similar certification preferred

  • Fluent in English; other European languages a plus

  • Full-time, permanent
