About the Opportunity

We are looking for a bright Data Privacy Analyst to join our team full-time.
As a Data Privacy Analyst you’ll work on different projects and be exposed to working client side, supporting our industry-leading data privacy consulting and technology engagements, as well as growing the Lex Dinamica practice through internal projects.
You will play a key part in enhancing our clients' journeys to becoming Privacy Driven Organisations™ with the autonomy to make a difference and the support to help it happen.
This position is for students that have graduated from a Master's or LLM. If you have graduated from an undergraduate degree or will do so soon, you can apply for a full-time or part-time internship within our Consulting & Advisory team.

Experience

To qualify for the role you must have recently graduated from an LLM or equivalent (or will do soon) and be able to demonstrate:

An interest in consulting and/or the field of data privacy and data governance

Good communication skills

An ability to solve problems

Responsibilities

With the support of the team, we’ll trust you with:

Providing practical advice to clients on compliant handling of personal data
-
Upholding individuals’ information rights by responding to rights requests, such as requests for copies of personal data, deletion of personal data etc
-
Preparing Data Protection Impact Assessments and other privacy documentation
-
Assessing data privacy risk in new and emerging technologies, such as AI
-
Identifying, assessing and mitigating personal data breaches
-
Conducting data privacy compliance health checks
-
Drafting and implementing data privacy strategies and policies
-
Preparing consulting briefing papers on new and emerging privacy laws
-
Researching emerging data privacy trends and developing our Insights
-
Learning how to manage data privacy platforms and processes

Learning how to create innovative services and products from scratch

Developing your technical and soft skills

Increasing your understanding of data privacy in practice

Salary range, dependent on experience: £24,000 – 29,000
